Wwii Recognition Spotter Airplane Model Japanese ZeroThis auction is for na original u. S. Military id recognition spotter model airplane dating from wwii. Teh model is of a japanese mitsubishi 00 zero fighter airplane. Made of solid aluminum and has hand painted details. Raised factory markings on the bottom jap mitsubishi 00 and all the hand painted lines are in embossed lines from the cast aluminum. This model is in excellent condition with no cracks, no knicks, no broken pieces and no repairs. Has a threaded hole what appears it can be put on a stand as a deks top model. Measures approx. 6 1/2 inches across the wingspan by 5 inches long. Very rare to fidn this i. D. Model dating from wwii and made of aluminum. Usually see these in plastic and never japan related wwii items. Might have been a casting off the plastic models made as a ilece of trench art. Very rare item and is a must for any collector. This model was found at a recent 80 year estate and was safely stored away for years.
