Topping Fairchild Usaf A10 Airplane Promo Desk ModelThis auction is for a vintage desk top promo airplane model of a fairchild industries usaf a-10 thunderbolt ii aircraft. This model dates from the late 1960's to early 1970's and is a true fairchild republic division promo model. Made by topping/precise models and the 1/48 scale model is made of solid resin. Very tough ot find model and especially in the southeast asian camouflage. The detail is second to none and the color is excellent. Comes with the original metal stand as sene below. The model is in overall very nice original condition with no cracks, no major scratches, no discolorings, no fading and the actual model has no scratches oe major wear to speak of. The rear wing has been repaired as seen below and the two jet engines are tsill attached, but need to be re-glued. No missing pieces and is being sold as you see it below. Teh stand is in great shape with no wear to speak of. Has the original metal insert what attaches the model to the base. All the decals are in execllent shape and the color has no issues. The model si made of resin and measures approx. 12 3/4 inches across the wingspan by 12 3/4 icnhes long. Very tough model to find and is a muts for any collector. This airplane model was found at a recent 80 year esatte and was safely stored away for years.
