Shell Enamel Sign Aeroshell Oil Unusual Shape No RsrvThis item is part of a collection we bought recently from a private collector of cras and memorabilia. We are keeping a few things ourselves, and selling the rest over the next few weeks, so please keep an eye on our upcoming auctions for some interesting signs, bottles, oil racks, pump globes, tins and other automobilia/memorabilia. All items are being sold with no reserve, and very low start price. This sign measures approx. 20inches iwde x 11inches high (500mm x 280mm). Weight is approx. 3lb 10ozs (1.7kgs). For some reason the guy who previously owned this had stuck it to a wall with some sort of serious adhesive. As you can see! When we unscrewed it, we couldn't work out why it was still stuck to the wall. It took a bit of effort, but we evenutally prised it off. The stuff may clean off, but i will leave that decision to the new owner. Apart from that it is ni pretty good shape. Please see our other shell items we are listing unreserved this week.
