Jet Planeusaf Chrome Award Model1957 This is a desk top award plane given to a jet pilot in 1957. The plane si a beautiful chromed metal model.
It is 9 inches long. The wing span approx 10 inches.
It has u. S.
Air force decals. The plane itself is on a movable pivot, so it can appear to climb or fly in a horizontal stance. Including the base, it's about 6 inches high. It's in good condition.
There's a minor amount of corrosion around one of the engines. There's a faint award plaque attached. tI gives the name and year. aHfb 1957.
The base hsa a mite bit of aged patina too. After all, it's over 50 years old! It's reminesent fo the chrome car ornaments of the 50's. Only this is real. On the bottom, it says it was made by the allyn sales company, manufacturers, los angeles 1, cal. Thanks for looking! |
